Washington County Fair Park (WI) Announces New Chief Executive Officer
Washington County’s Agriculture and Industrial Society (AIS), which operates the Washington County Fair Park and Conference Center, appointed Stacy Holland (formerly Indermuehle) as the new Chief Executive Officer. The announcement follows an unveiling of the organization’s new mission and strategic plan last September.

Deal Struck For Soccer Fields At Santa Clara County Fairgrounds (CA)
The San Jose Earthquakes and South Bay officials are taking a big step in long-held plans to develop a public and private soccer field complex at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Santa Clara County, San Jose and the Earthquakes organization announced their three-way deal Wednesday, with a shared goal of opening an eight-field facility on about 26 acres in the coming years.

Businessman Saves Bradford Fair Association (FL) From Foreclosure
A businessman in Bradford stepped in to help save the Bradford Fair Association from foreclosure. North Central Florida native Jim Gissy made a deal with the association to buy a loan they were struggling to pay back, allowing them to have a better repayment plan. In 2018, the association started construction on a $3 million arena. State officials granted them $3 million for the project, but only paid out half of the grant.
2024 PA Farm Show National Anthem Contest Winners Announced; Schuylkill County Youth Wins Most Votes
Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding today announced the singers who will perform the “Star-Spangled Banner” daily and at special events during the 2024 Farm Show. Thirteen-year-old Thea Sten, of Schuylkill Haven in Schuylkill County, received the most social media votes in the 2024 PA Farm Show National Anthem contest, ‘Oh, Say Can You Sing?’.
2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (TX) Music Lineup Announced
Several country music favorites are coming to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Sammy Kershaw will headline the first concert on opening weekend in January. Trace Adkins, Pam Tillis, and Little Texas are also set to perform. Motown legend Smokey Robinson will also perform a selection of his many classics, songs from his first new album in nearly a decade.
