What is GBAC?
What does the GBAC Star Facility Accreditation mean for your fairground and exhibition center? It means that your team is implementing the highest standards for cleaning and disinfection of infectious agents like the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
GBAC STAR ™ is a performance-based accreditation program that helps facilities demonstrate they have the work practices, procedures, and protocols to prepare, respond, and recover from outbreaks and pandemics. This program was developed by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a division of ISSA.
Learn More About GBAC Accreditation
The GBAC Star accreditation helps us easily explain to clients that our operational procedures are exceeding industry standards. The application process was thorough, and we walked away with substantial documentation that we now use as our north star to plan safe events including the Kentucky State Fair.
