Lilian Seay, Special Projects Coordinator from Celebrate Fairfax, Inc in Fairfax, Virginia is the winner of the free delegate registration drawing held on July 4, 2008. All delegates registered for the IAFE Annual Convention in Las Vegas by July 4 were entered in the drawing.
Lilian will be a first time attendee at the Convention in Las Vegas.
It Is Not Too Late! We Still Have Gifts to Give!
Another drawing for a free delegate registration will be held September 15, 2008 from all registered delegates. Register early for a chance to receive your registration fee refunded back to you. And, if your fair has less than 100,000 attendance and has never sent a delegate to the Convention, you can enter to win a free registration – Send us a letter by September 26. In your letter include what your fair will gain by attending the Convention.

 Be an All-Star in the 2008 Coca-Cola Membership Contest
Membership contest sponsor, Coca-Cola, is offering some great rewards to those IAFE members who recruit new members in to the IAFE. The grand prize is a trip for two to the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star game!

Institute of Fair Management
Are you a volunteer, part-time or full-time paid staff member at your fair? You can join others involved with fairs, exhibitions and shows to focus on your professional development in a curriculum covering all aspects of management in the Institute of Fair Management. Courses are offered in the core competencies necessary for the successful operation of today’s fairs, large or small. This is basic training at its best, with courses conveniently offered over time in a variety of settings so that you can take your time and pay as you go.
